This 4 hour course sets the foundation to safely and confidently work with a handgun especially those civilians who have no to minimal handgun experience. The basic fundamentals are the building blocks for intermediate and advanced courses such as the LTC course. Berg Tnt provides the instruction, range, and targets.
You will learn:
- firearms safety
- correct way to manipulate a handgun
- proper loading and unloading of a handgun
- thumbs forward grip
- grip pressures
- presentation
- stance
- use of the sights with emphasis on mastering a perfect trigger press
- one and two handed marksmanship at various distances
Equipment You Bring:
- Your carry handgun (pistol or revolver)
- at least 2 magazines or a speed loader
- 200 rounds of ammunition
- eye and ear protection
- close toed shoes
- a ball cap or hat with brim

This 7 hour Texas LTC course covers 4 required modules and meets the Texas requirements to obtain a LTC permit. Participants will complete a written test, demonstrate handgun proficiency on the range using B27 Qualification targets, and once successfully completed will receive a signed LTC104 course completion form. Berg TnT provides instruction, range, and B27 Qualification targets.
You will learn:
- Module 1 ‐ Laws that relate to weapons and to the use of deadly force
- Module 2 ‐ Handgun use and safety, including use of restraint holsters and methods to ensure the secure carrying of openly carried handguns
- Module 3 - Non‐violent dispute resolution
- Module 4 ‐ Proper storage practices for handguns with an emphasis on storage practices that eliminate the possibility of accidental injury to a child.

- minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition(we recommend you bring 100 rounds)
- eye and ear protection

Proficiency Qualification (Shooting) Only-1 hours:
For those who have taken the classroom portion of Texas LTC on-line through another provider, we offer the Proficiency Demonstration (Range section) qualification course of fire. Berg TnT provides the B27 Qualification range and the targets. Once successfully completed, you will receive a signed LTC 104 form, which is required to complete the process of obtaining your Texas LTC.

- minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition (we recommend you bring 100 rounds)

This 4 hour class reinforces shooting fundamentals and then takes it up a notch. Berg TnT provides the instruction, range, and targets.
You will learn:
- pure marksmanship (one and two handed) at various distances
- managing multiple adversaries
- basic weapon manipulation including reloads, clearing malfunctions and drawing from the holster.
Equipment You Bring:
- your carry handgun (pistol or revolver)
- quality holster and belt
- a least one method of reloading (extra magazines or speed loader)
- concealed carry clothing (cover shirt and long pants)
- ball cap or hat with brim
- eye and ear protection
- 150 rounds of ammunition

This 4 hour course builds upon the foundational handgun skills and includes stress inoculation. The use of time, scoring rings, competition and mild physical agility will be included to induce stress to improve participants ability to retain control and shoot accurately. Berg TnT provides the instruction, range, and targets.
You will learn:
- point shooting
- double tapping
- scanning
- movement
- the use of barricades
- everything in Defensive Handgun I, but more complexity and difficulty

- quality holster and belt
- a least one method of reloading (extra magazines or speed loader)
- concealed carry clothing (cover shirt and long pants)
- ball cap or hat with brim
- eye and ear protection
